Jeanne-Peri is a composer and pianist from France and Turkey.

She started
 playing the piano at the age of 4, later on enrolled in La Schola Cantorum
 Conservatory in Paris to take classical piano and theory lessons. After moving
 to Bodrum, Turkey she continued her musical education with private lessons and started her composing journey in high school while writing music inspired by poems from Nazim Hikmet, Baudelaire, Prevert and many more.


After completing a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Film Studies in Paris, she decided to pursue a career in film scoring and moved to Los Angeles where she enrolled in UCLA Extension’s Film Scoring Program.

She received her first Best Score award in 2018 for her work on her first short film, L’Oiseau directed by Lisa Hurel.

In 2020 she scores a first TV documentary Les Communards de Nouvelle Calédonie co-produced by JPL Prod and France TV.


2022 is the year she scores her first feature Rebel//Rebel, directed by Drew Harwood, premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles in septembre 2022 and her second TV documentary, directed by Jean-Yves Philippe L’Ecohameau, un chemin d’aventure, produced by L’Harmatan TV and Les Films d’un Jour.



She also makes a strong start in 2023 with a new documentary for ARTE, directed by Paul Terrel, produced by Les Films en Vrac & Poles Productions, Le grand carnaval des caméléons, and three short films, Un Week-end by Mickaël Sabah, produced by MIJIA Films with Vincent Elbaz, Piano Man directed by Zack Beining and Stan Behavior directed by Tyler Peterson.



Throughout her musical education and career, she attended numerous creative programs and masterclasses such as the Gumusluk Music Festival, 3rd Character Workshop at the Marseille International Film Festival (formerly known as Aubagne International Film Festival), LAFCI and many more. In 2022 & 2023 she was selected to participate in TRIO and CRESCENDO, a music residency and composer showcase organized by Maison du Film, sponsored by Sacem and Scam.
 She’s also an active member of numerous organizations such as UCMF, Alliance of Women Film Composers, Collectif 50/50, and one of the founding members of Troisième Autrice, a non profit organization aiming to promote and help female composers from France or working in France.
